Palm Pre, Where have you been all my life?

Two weeks ago I went down to the local Sprint store to check out the new Palm Pre. I had already spent the past few days looking up info on the unit and the morning reading the in depth Engadget’s in depth review. I held the tethered unit in my hands and aside from the pull of the cable, it felt really nice, looked really nice, I had to get one.
Ubuntu 9.04, first impressions. (very late post)

Back on 4/20, Canonical announced 9.04 was available for download. I have been following Ubuntu since 7.04 and even switched to it from Gentoo. This new release has a number of visual improvements bringing it closer into the desktop market.
While looking to load up a spare PC with an OS, I decided to give the new Ubuntu a try…
